I know that all states have the white light rule. However, what if my low beams are stock (or even upgraded 5000k HIDS), and my high beams are the yellow Nokya 2500K bulbs. Is that still legal? If it makes any difference, the state is NJ.

OK, does anyone know anywhere in NJ I can purchase them locally? The only places I see it online are ebay, and it is $20 with shipping for all of them.

the yellow/ amber lights on the crown vics are the parking lights...not drls..the amber light on the corner of the light is turn signal...i used to wire the cop cars...
and 99% of cos wont pull u over for such a small infraction...unless they got a hair up there ass or are really really really bored and have had a slow night
its always better to know not guess...cuz if u stand in front of the judge and u say i thought they were legal u would get screwed....and he would make u seem like an idiot...not like ur goin to court for yello drls...but i was just using a reference
Technically, if its not the factory spec of the car, its illegal, meaning HID's on an 8th gen are illegal. But seriously, most cops don't know what is from the manufacturer and whats not, and the cops that do... well they are most likely into tuning, lol... in which case you are fine... I've had Nokya Yellows as my DRL's for about a year, been pulled over twice (for other reasons) and the cops have not mentioned them. You're fine!
Not legal according to the law but officers don't really care unless they're not up to date with giving tickets by the end of the month.
