Hey guys, i purchased and installed my k-light 6000k Hid kit (ebay) around the beginning of september and just the other night one of the bulbs went out (3 months), is it usual for an hid bulb to die that fast? Because i always thought they were supposed to last longer than halogens. So i went ahead and emailed the guy that sells the kits in china and i ordered some new replacement bulbs that are supposed to last over a year and are "better" than the ones i had originally. Also, when i get the bulbs should i just go ahead and replace both of the headlights at once?
Oh and when i first got the kit one of the ballasts i got was faulty so i was running one light for about a week (the one that burned out) because i didnt want to reopen the fender lining. So i dont know if that could have caused it to burn out quicker, but that explains why one died quicker than the other.
Thanks in advance :thumb:
