This issue's getting on my nerves! I swapped out the stock headlight bulbs with some Piaa's, and was pretty careful doing it. Afterwards, I measured out the height of the beam against a wall and did some adjusting to make sure they were both even. But now the problem is if I'm sitting in another car staring straight at my headlights, one side shines way brighter than the other, as if they are mis-aligned. But when I'm in my car staring out at the headlight beam, they look even! Has anybody else had this problem? Any comments or advice would be appreciated.
let me guess, your drivers light look higher (has more glare) when youre looking at it from outside? did you check the alignment before you did the swap? you would have probably noticed that the drivers light is slightly lower than the passengers' .. adjust it like that and you should be fine
The headlights are supposed to be like that so that the right side one is aimed a bit higher to read roadside signs and the left side one doesn't blind oncoming traffic. This is why when guys bring over JDM lights they have so many issues...
