Are these fogs okay?

Wazzzzahhh everyone? I say these fogs on Ebay and thought they might make a great buy.

eBay Motors: 2006 2007 2008 HONDA CIVIC 4DR SI OEM FOG LIGHTS LAMPS (item 350120872061 end time Nov-09-08 20:11:44 PST)

Do you think I could use the PDF of the OEM installation instructions to install and place the switch? I've got the Si and it looks like the switch would go next to the VSA button, do the dummy covers just pop out. Or is this too good to be true and will catch my car on fire?

I just ordered those from that seller... others have said that they are reputable. I received my lights in like 3 days and am going to do the install hopefully this weekend (as long as it's not raining). The lights don't come with directions but the install is pretty similar to the OEM. Only MAJOR difference is that the wiring harnesses are slightly different, something that I am guessing will make this install a ***** and a half.

I'll let you know how my install goes, and will take pics... but I'd say go ahead and order them

Yeah I definitely will... I'm a little nervous about the install because it's the first work I'm doing on a car that I actually care a lot about (only other car I really worked on was my 94 civic back when I was in high school). I'm in SF, where you at??? and whats Power Exchange?

We got the same car mine is just NHBP... you have anything done to yours? I'm stock so far.

Wait.... How long have you lived in the city? The Power Exchange is a sex club. People pay like 20 bux to get in and everyone just has sex with eachother.... kinda wierd huh? google it! haha! Uhhh I was born in Vallejo and lived in the area up until recently now I'm up near Sac town.

My car is stock except for some cosmetic changes like, painted calipers (red) Pin striped grill (red) tinted windows and a dash mat.... if that counts? I'm thinkin of an intake but seeing as they are not CARB exempt than maybe not. We'll see.

dude these are alright, i just bought some from them but for the 2dr, there just k2fogs, like literally i opened the box and it had a k2 invoice receipt and i was like okay...? got them in one day too!, and the oem instructions work, cept you only have to do the one power cable and thats it, and the switch color is different from the rest, but nothing like leds to solve that problem

Damn straight oem fog lights break easily. I just repaired two of mine with lexan.
Though, I broke one and took a hammer to the other one so that they would match. It withstood the blow from the hameer fairly well.
The point is any fog light you get wont matter it will break very easily.

im pretty sure when a rock hits a small piece of glass at a high speed, it's going to break the glass, thats just what happens....that says nothing about the quality of the lights

It does say something about the quality of the glass. J-Ro who works for honda said the 09's glass is thicker. Hoepfuly that thicker glass will withstand the same rock that can break our fogs.
