New Headlights and Taillights

On ebay there are new headlight replacement for the new civic. From 2 doors to 4 doors along with the taillights. Some of them look great but I would rather stick with my taillights and just change the headlights. The headlights are similar to BMW, with the LED Halo around the low beam and high beam. I would like to know if anyone have install them yet and does it work well also do they fit nicely? I'm thinking about it but dont want to blow money off on something that is not worth it. Here is a link for some of them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

It's been posted many times now. There are a few pictures floating around. Here's a thread with some pics of the headlights: http://8thcivic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10751

Didn't you guys know? New headlights and taillights make your car faster. The flimsy lightweight plastic used saves you half a pound of weight total - which in a road race (no track racing) could mean the difference between being a ricer that loses, or a ricer that won.

Enough of the rice comments guys. The OP is concerned with the lights fitting.

Tronvex, if you look at a lot of the comments for that user concerning the fitment of those parts, a lot of people are saying they don't fit well. You may want to research it a bit more. Take a look at several of the auctions and see what people are saying about the lights through their comments. If you see a lot of "Parts don't fit" comments, there's your answer.

Agreed. For that amount of money, just get someone to retrofit real projectors into your housing. They'll fit, but they'll put out the same light output (or in a lot of cases, worse) as the OE's. Your money is better spent elsewhere, but of course, that's just my .02.
