i took it off now, i'm leaving it black because the orange reflectors dont go with the color. Still waiting for my angle eyes, i miss it today! I'll wait for tomorrow.

just playing around witht the flashlight as you can see no rainbow affect above the beam pattern, with a little mod i did.

Did you paint your cutoff sheild black? I am thinking of doing this inorder to get rid of the rainbow...

shining a flashlight in the back of the projector isnt much of a test, part of whats causing the rainbow is light bending around the shield, which is based on the location of the light emitting capsule of the hid bulb being at its properly installed location.

just made 2 changes, i painted the reflectors black with a new pair of shrouds =]

I screwed up, i didnt know i had glue on my hand when i was installing the angel eyes into the highbeam so it ended up some glue in there. I sand it off and painted painted it black I'm going to quad next time I open this headlights again. Ow well I'll be driving low beam with angel eyes on for now.

stuff and tools that i use for my retros are:
dremel with (diamond disc from ebay 5 disc for $6 bucks)
8 screws 3/16 x 1.5inch
#8 washers x 16 for mounting projectors
#8 washers x 8 = color mod
1 spray paint gloss black
1 spray paint clear coat
2 screw drivers
1 needle nose plier
exacto knife
8mm socket
JbWeld
Lepage epoxy
45 degree adjustable ruler
