High Beam/9005 Question

HI guys:

I'm experiencing a problem with my High beam bulb.

Recently I replaced my 9005 High beam stock bulb with Eurolite Xenon Fusion.

But somehow it is obviously a LOT darker ( it feels like I didn't even turn my High beam ON ) than my Stock one.

The stock 9005 ( 60 Watt ) , Eurolite Xenon 9005 ( 65 Watt ).

Is the problem that the socket still only provides 60 watt even though the bulb is 65watt ?

I can't think of any thing that is causing this to be darker ( A LOT DARKER )

I have to second rippars' opinion on that one. 65 watts in a 60 watt fixture just means a shorter life span for the bulb.

Bought Silverstar 9005ST today and replaced with it, it got a lot brighter than Eurolite 9005 Fusion Xenon and stock one, but sadly it is a lot more yellowish than Eurolite Fusion.

huh? well if your talking about the drl's being on theres still going to be some yellow showing, but when you flip to high beams they'll be the same as the lowbeams if you switched those out too...

= )

of course it will be yellowish (DRL) with all bulbs , OEM Halgeon, Eurolite, Silverstar.

I meant when I switched ON my high beam. It shows yellowish still.

Ya, you're right. It will be hard to judge without any pic. I will post pic later tonight.
