To Rice or not to Rice... Ebay projector question

These look, really, really tempting. The angel eyes are admittedly super *** and terrible but the projector looks clean as **** and I think with a decent hid kit it may be the poor mans retrofit solution... has anyone tried these out yet?

Check with the supplier if PNP hid kits will fit. A lot of them don't because of the length of the bulb. (or some other reason)

If you like that ricey ugly looking headlight, then you can go on ebay and buy them for $150. I don't really understand why some people recommend online stores that charge twice or three times the cost of the same item on ebay. Afterall, they are ebay products.

sure they look interesting and different, some would say its nice.. but the question for these products is its function, reliability and performance. the thing that turns me off the most
is the cut-off beam. its basically a hit or miss. nothing beats a properly done retrofit. without the proper cut-off (correct me if i am wrong) with no way of adjusting it and how it projects the light, that would affect how you drive at night (visibility) = safety. which utterly loses the point of buying them since you get projectors for you to better up your vision at night... well unless you're buying it jsut for the angel eyes and the mini leds around it.

i looked into alot of those headlight for my car. i tryed to find ones with no angle eyes and no leds but coulding find one. and the light output and cut-off are garbo. i would recommend an hid conversion on ur stock heads and clear them. if u got the cas then get a nice retro

Quality issues aside, I think they look 10x better than retros. Most retros look just as they're called retros--like somebody cut up the reflector and jammed HIDs in there.
