Neons in trunk...

Well, did this a long time ago. Looks good to me and thats all that matters. Glows pretty good for a red color. Just take a look will ya.

daytime pictures

nighttime

I'm going for a red and white theme color. Got 3 red dome lights inside of car with red neons under the dash and seats.

Looks good (and colorful). I'm considering doing something similar, but I would like to find a way to minimize the view of the neons (or LEDs if I go that route). Waiting to do a custom sub setup with fiberglass then accent it with some lighting.

It was hard at first for me too. I just stuck a flat screw driver in there and ply it down. theres 4 white buttons that need to be off.

Looks alright.......I personally would have tried to hid them up in the rear deck more so that you dont see them when you open the trunk.

you only seem them b/c i was on the floor when taking the pictures so you can see them in place. If you just look when your standing, you can't really see any of the neon tubes.

Curious, where you get the 12v power in the trunk for the neon light?

If you take out the stock oem orange bulb out, these some wires that power that. I went to a car store and bought the cigerret light ish thing and hook it to that so I can plug my neons in there. I also got a outlet that allows me to plug more than one neon into it so thats how i have many. I just threw everything in the side of the car when you pull the plastic rug down.

two questions, first, what do you mean the stock "orange" bulb? I know the trunk light in my LX is just white or whatever, some come with orange? Also, if I wanted to install just one neon light, could I just cut the wires and hook it right up to the wiring from the stock trunk light?

1) its NEON.. its a plural word in its singular form (like deer or fish)

2) I really hope those arent visible at all from normal standing or else its kinda bad for a lack of using another word

3) i bet that glows like a MOFO, nothing like overkill *thumb up*

what i mean by orange is halogen i guess. Its just that little bulb that powers the light when you open your turn. Just tapped that wire.

No... no electrical problems. Works great.
