Does anyone have the specs on the lights that illuminate the gauges? Eg, the steering wheel lights, the switch lights, radio lights etc?

Good call, Jon. I checked, the other stickied thread was geared towards LEDs. Since this one covers all lights and their aftermarket counterparts it's a great thread. Good work, WhitecivicSi. And thanks.

Are these considered "daytime running lights?" I got my High and low beams replaced, but it seems these have not been replaced yet.

ah, don't normally consider fog lights, driving lights.

What are the ones for the daytime running lights?

Hmmm... both my low and highs are replaced with HIDs, and for damn sure the daytime running lights don't look it.

the DRL's are the 9005 bulb, the 9005 buld is used as a DRL, at partial power, and then used as your high beam headlight at full power.

They may appear blue to you, but they're actually white 4300k bulbs. Blue may appear by looking at the lights off-axis causing that cool flicker, or if you're near one, they always appear to have a slightly more blue tint. Helps that their fogs are bright yellow too.

If you want those 8000k bulbs, go for it. They look okay. You'll see more with 4300K, and lowering light output with 8000K bulbs just to look cooler seems to defeat the entire purpose of HIDs to me.

This post will be worthless without pics. But you will get them! I was sick of the 5w 194 trunk bulb that looked more like the light level of a romantic evening than the light that should be helping me find my gym shorts in the dark. Anyway, I grabbed an 11 watt malibu light for the yard and tried it out. Plug and play, baby. And it's very bright now. I also painted the exterior of the bulb with a blue sharpie to offset some of the yellowy orangey incandencent color. It's superwhite and supercheap, just like I am!

Dont know if anyone has had this problem, but it took my dumbass an hour to figure it out. I bought some replacement 100W "HID" bulbs to replace my low beams. Well I struggled to get them in and could not get them to lock into place. So after an hour, I changed out the rubber ring off of the stock with the new ones. Wala, worked like a charm. They went right in and locked with no problem. So if anyone replaces the lights and cant get them turn, just swap the rubber o rings.
