actually, wat u need to do is find this 12 LED kit on ebay (12 flux) that should work, im getting it in a week (already payed) so ill hit u up on that
Also side firing LEDs, they are harder to find in wedge base but there are a few last but not least, theres always fabricating reflecters, but once i get my 100 pack of blue LEDs (found them for 20 bux) and my circuit boards and resistors, ill be sure to set up a DIY for a wedge base LED thats side firing! problem is the plastic used for the light on most leds is nose firing, and the wedge base is firing into the plastic wall of the housing, not into the leds!!!! When i get the 12LED package ill be sure to try it there first, but its gonna go in my dome light (comes with multiple bases! all on plugs!) its only 30mm by 50mm by 8.6mm so it should fit up in my dome. either way ill be sure to let u know my gf comes home with my 9LED kit for the map lights today! |

I wanna change out the reverse lights to a bright blue LED. Since i don't use it to drive or anything it should be perfectly legal.
(Maybe it's not, but not looking for ya to tell me state laws and such.) Question is: Will this bulb: ![]() Be direct plug n play like my inside festons or am I going to have to do something extra? |

Ok sorry if this is really dumb of me but i dont really know that much about swaping out my lights, im looking for the look of an h.i.d. headlight similar to the lexus, cadilac, etc. but do not have the cash for a retrofit or new headlights, so is there any headlight light bulb that can get me what i want just by swithching the bulbs (high and low beams of course)? and which one will look the most alike the lexus, cadilac, etc.?
Thanks so much! Bernie |

PSSST those are for nubs.... Any bulb that achieves a "Whiter light" via a coating is also loosing lumens.... testing shows that sylvania silverstars lose 15% and Ultras lose 20% of their lumens... thats 20% LESS light than your standard halogen!!!! and 40% less than what they claim ahahahaha Advertising and marketing can be tricky the other thing you could have done was get HIRs or 9011/9012 bulbs to replace your 9005/9006 bulbs respectively and get 2000+ lumens! almost what HIDs offer!!! not to mention the 9012 bulb lasts 2x the hours of the longest lasting 9006 on the market! they are still halogen and use the same wattage but harness an Infrared technology (reflects IR back at the filament) and it burns brighter and lasts longer!!!! its slightly whiter light but not "White (having a blueish hint)" at 25 bux a bulb and a little tab to dremel off to fit perfectly in the whole.... they are welll worth the money |

I don't have exact instructions on doing so...but it should be self explainatory bud. Just took at your headlights and it should be as simple as twist off the old and put on the new. Just becareful with the new bulbs...you don't want any finger prints on them...also, hopefully your hands aren't as big as mine...it might become alittle pain in the ass.

ok low beams, to change you have to:
a) turn the wheels so you have access thru the wheel well b) take the tacks off one at a time and pull back the lining in the wheel well to get access c) once you have access, its just like any other light bulb, twist em out, pull the plug off, and replace by plugging the new one in, the placing it thru the whole, and twist it til it locks you will have to turn your tires both directions FYI its not just fingerprints your worrying about, even if you clean them off the bulb you have already damaged the sensitive glass! |
