Why doesn't mugen make this stuff for the US civic??

Because they're a Japanese company, and make parts specifically for Japanese vehicles.

Yeah, it sucks. Rather than wish that Mugen made stuff for NA Hondas, I wish that Honda had just released the 8th gen everywhere.

you can buy badges and emblem and slap it on everywhere.. who knows? some of the 8thgen members dont even know who mugen is...

they r very overpriced for what u get...... dumb question... is it pronounced "mew-gen" or "moo-ghen"?????????? I've heard both from ppl before and didnt wanna sound like a jackass if i was sayin it wrong

Moo-Gen. You really can't fault anyone for not saying it right, not everybody's japanese.

Read it phonetically, as Japanese is phonetic.

They're not overpriced, when compared to some other companies pricing. They tend to make street usable fast cars, rather than track cars that go on the street. So, take that for what it's worth.

I agree! I think it sounds pretty stupid when I say moo-gen as opposed to mew-gen. Then I eavesdrop on my Japanese friends and you hear the crazy japanese: <yatta yatta yatta> mooooooooo-gen <yatta yatta yatta> nandayoooooo and that's when I crap my pants.

i've always said moo gen. Maybe mew gen is just the way its said in places other than cali do to an accent from somewhere else, even though that somewhere else thinks us Cali people have an accent. I have also heard that the accent that cali people have is a lack of one and thats why we sound funny.

Mugen makes good engines for F1, so why cant they make hardcore performance parts for us?
