it's cool. But like people said, pick what is gonna fit your lifestyle. If it's just you or you and a friend, then get the coupe. If you travel and go on road trips with friends or need extra space for your things, get the sedan. There are times where I would need a sedan but I have a coupe because I usually drive by myself. When it comes to mods, sedan wins with more things you can do to it. To be honest, what sold me is the HFP front lip for the coupe... it looks sooooo mean and aggressive so I went with that.

Coupe is more compact and 'sporty' if that's what you're looking for. I'm not saying the sedan doesn't look sporty either because it is - but some people might define the sedan as a more practical choice in terms of space (frequent friends boarding your car, baby seat in the back, space for your belongings if you lug a lot of stuff with you, etc).
The coupe can be inconvenient if you find yourself having more than 3 people boarding your car frequently. For me personally, it's usually just me and my girlfriend in my car so I'm comfortable with a 2-door. Sometimes I do wish I had 4-doors though when I have to board more than two people. In the end, I've never really been a fan of sedans. The sedan has a lot of options that the coupe doesn't have, such as the Mugen parts, CTR body conversions, and other JDM appeal. However, the coupe has a few things that aren't available for sedans too - but not many. That is why FG owners are often finding themselves envying FAs. Both the coupe and sedan perform virtually the same - if they didn't then they wouldn't both be called an SI within the same model generation. There is no 'coupe is better' or 'sedan is better' in terms of putting numbers down. It's really just a preference. Don't let prideful coupe or sedan owners convince you that one is more superior than the other, it's just simply not true. It's really just a style preference. Honestly it seems like a lot of people on here have traded their coupe for a sedan - but I haven't really noticed anyone ditching their sedan for a coupe...hell, some people even own both the coupe and sedan ![]() It's really up to you. I think if you get a sedan you would be very happy with it. Just make sure you don't get a coupe and end up wanting the sedan and then wanting to trade your FG in for an FA lol - make you first choice the right and final choice. My personal opinion however, is to go with a coupe Last edited by Vinc84; 06-07-2008 at 04:41 AM. |
