2006 LX coupe with 66,000 miles, I drove it today and it seemed to be fine. There is a small dent that can be pushed out and it needs new tires in the front. All the service has been documented at the dealer. One owner, they drove it 50 minutes each way to work. Its had new brake pads and rotors some time in the past, no accidents...
I could buy it for 12,500, should I do it? What is that car really worth? Thanks for any help! Looking at another car, check out post #20 thanks! Last edited by mason71; 05-27-2008 at 12:50 AM. |

Seeing how you could buy an 08 for 17k out the door with 3 miles on it and the color you want. 12,500 is quite a bit with 66k miles, needing new tires and a dent. If I were to buy it I'd offer 11k, somewhere in between fair and good kbb value. Maybe even less

Black Book on the car after you deduct the miles is about 10,500 so after the inspection and detail of the vehicle they probably have around 11,200 in it. So 12,500 is a little steep. When you can buy a new one for around 15,500 thats invoice minus the hold back.

i know it is different from area to area but I just sold my 2004 civic lx coupe with 41,000 miles on it. SOLD in 24 hours mind you, for $11,000
The car had scrapes on the rear bumper and 2 dents on the drivers side door so it wasn't in perfect condition. |
