It isn't really more rocky. I'd call it more of a firm ride. It's tighter--I can feel everything in the pavement (which I actually like). What's interesting is that over smooth pavement, it seems a quieter ride. A good size bump will definitely give a jolt. My wife says she's going to wear a sports bra when we ride around town now.

In a sharp, high speed turn, on the stock wheels and tires, there was a little bit of "give" as if the tires were rolling under with the body roll. This is completely gone. Also, I was feeling oversteer on the stock wheels/suspension. I haven't pushed it that hard yet, but what I was feeling is gone with the new wheels.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can. I might go out and try to get some flash pics now.

It's a totally different ride now with the HFP suspension and those wheels. It feels solid, planted right on the pavement. It handled well before, but now I can put it right where I want it in the road.

I see your running 225 on the recommended tire size of 215. Any issues by going wider?
I got hfp wheels and am trying to figured out what tire to get and what size. I'd like to go 225 but 215 is recommended.

This is my first set of tires on these wheels, so, as far as comparisons, I couldn't really tell you much. I don't know of any real issues, though.

I push the car pretty hard in the turns sometimes. Loose change has gone flying a few times. Usually a tire will begin to squeal when it rolls under on a hard turn, but I haven't had that happen yet.

In the rain, it handles amazingly well now. I'm still not used to the grip these tires have in the wet--and that's probably due to the wider size. Also, the profile appears to fit the wheel better than the 215's (at least from photos I've seen).

It has settled a lot since those pics. I can barely get two fingers between the tire and the body.

I think the HFP lip kit would look really nice with the suspension and wheels you have now. I went the other way and did the lip kit first and now I'm saving to get the HFP suspension next. I got my lip kit last Thurday and put it on last Friday and it turn out pretty good. My car is almost an year old and there's not difference in color from the lip to the car. Took the day off work

Those wheels really go well with your car. Excellent stuff!

Has anyone seen these mounted on a silver FA5? I want to see how they would look. The only photos I have come across are of the concept model. The only problem is that the concept model has that weird body kit along the fenders so it doesn't look the same.

Anyone come across any photos?

Actually, I think they make these in silver too. These are the "carbon bronze pearl" color. But I was actually looking at some silver ones several months ago. (or at least the seller said they were silver.

I'll look around for them.
