Did you take your dealership tag off?

Hey, I decided I no longer wanted to do any advertising for my dealership and so I removed it earlier today and I must say, it looks much better. Much as I like the dealership, I got sick of seeing their damn logo on my new ride. How many of you have kept or trashed it?

Day of coming home

Good riddance

I took it off at the dealership. When I got outside to take a look at the car, i ripped it off cause it still had that plastic backing on it.

I immediately flipped my chromey dealer license brackets. No way am I advertising for them for free. I eventually took them off and went with a flipped black Injen license frame.

Mine too came off. Only it was a license plate frame. So it was nice and easy to take off. My Si badge and the civic badge on the back also came off at the same time. I hate how dealerships think that they should let you advertise for them it is bs.

They never had the chance to put it on. I was at the dealership when my Si rolled off the truck. Told them no free advertising.

I hate that dealers even take the liberties of putting that on your car. Sure, if it was on the lot before you ordered it, but still.

The salesman didn't put mine on. The car I traded in had them all off. He then jokingly said the license plate frame was in the trunk if I ever decided to change my mind. Free advertising FTL.

I took mine off the second day I owned the car after driving it home. It was an eyesore. I bought it from Victory Honda in Monroe, Michigan. Checked race flags (like the corvette logo) with the name between them.

I'm sorry, I just drove nine hours to get a Fiji Blue Si (back when Si's were hard to get in ANY color, let alone Fiji Blue), and paid $20,500 for the car with no add-ons. I will not be a free advertisement for your dealership, no matter how good you are.

I bought my car at Valley Honda in Naperville/Aurora and they only brand it with a license plate frame. I took the back frame off for a Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) plate and left the front one for the dealership. Looks nice.

So many cars on the road have dealer stickers and plate frames. People dont even realize they are advertising for free.

when I told them to go ahead and order mine I told them no front plate and no dealer sticker in the back. I didn't really care about the licence plate frame.. 2 screws and its off (hmm.. reminds me of my ex)

Mine has stayed on there. My father is the GM of a Honda dealership, and I've got no problem with it.
