May be Joining the Si ranks

I currently drive a Jeep Rubicon, i thought it would be cool to drive with the doors off in FL and it is, but my need for speed has started to itch again. I went to the St. Pete Grand Prix and the pace car was a Civic Si, i was impressed to say the least. I'm working with a dealer right now to see if they can get me into a new Si, im just waiting on a call back and some figures. If everything goes well i may have some pics of a new Si by the end of the week.

By my math i can save money on my monthly payment and on gas even having to use premium, i get on average 14mpg with the Rubi now and my payments are 460+ a month. Hopefully the dealer will get back to me.

Here's one with it dirty, spent the day blasting around Pasco County:

if u never go off road, get the Si. You'll love it coming from a jeep.
If u do go of-road, theres no substitute for a Jeep.

Yeah i know, $464 to be exact, the Jeep ran me 30k. I like it alot, but the MPG is kicking my butt. And I find myself rev matching my downshifts in a jeep, my subconscious is telling me something.

I love offroading but they officially closed down the only good spot left around me, now if i want to get it dirty its a few hours drive.

Very nice! The Rubicon came out in 2003, just as I was ordering my 2002 Sahara. A few of the salesmen told me to wait and order the Rubicon due to the fact it had a Dana 44 front and rear. Needless to say I didn't.

ha ha, that was what i was gonna get, i was torn between a jeep wrangler x or an si, i like the convertableesque ability of the jeep and the "i dont have to worry about getting dinged up, scratched, raced by fellow hondas" problems.

There's no other way of taking good pictures of a Jeep Wrangler/Rubicon unless the car's dirty.

Good luck on getting the Si, it's a great car. I almost bought a Jeep a few years ago, but then I thought about off-roading my daily driver and got a truck instead. A Jeep is definitly sweet if you have another car for when you break the Jeep.

Ok I'm sold on the Si, i went dealer hopping and checked out the scion Tc. What a waste of time that was, I'm 5'9" and I had no headroom with the seat cranked all the way down. Then i went to Honda and checked out a few Si's,they had a nice coupe in black with no Navi that caught my interest. The interior is leaps and bounds better then the scion. My major hitch is reportable income, i don't have enough because i get paid half cash, half check. So i need to save up some more for a down payment and i'll be good to go. My Si will be here soon enough, can't wait to
