*Merged* Non 8th gen owning members

Okay, so it seems as if I've noticed a lot of members here lately are not owners of 8th gen civics so I figured I would start a thread. Post up your non 8th gen cars. If you own an 8th and something else, posting that something else.

I'll start

anyone else?

^That's really nice bro. I really like the ion redlines, I just hate the front end on them. The nose beak thing just rubs me the wrong way. But I do have to say that the boost gauge that comes with the competition package is pretty damn cool (the 3 stage shift light thingy, lol).

Oh man.. I love the csx's. In my head what they did with the usdm civics here vs the jdm/cdm civic/csx is alot like when they put the weak k20a3 in the ep3.. we got ripped off. Don't get me wrong, I like the usdm sedan and all, but the csx just looks so much better IMO.

I've got an 05 Ford Taurus, trading it in for an 07 SI at the beginning of May.
Fully loaded, and totally boring...

lol^

At a local shop no too long ago there was a cheap dyno day. We all met up and went out there to see a few cars we were curious about getting dyno'd and an svt contour pulled up and kept trying to run everyone. Think about it though, this is a line of stage 2 srt4's, a bunch of evo's, a couple of sti's, some turbo'd & s/c'd civics.. and this guy seriously thought he was the sh!t.

But to me they are comfortable cars to drive. They have the same value's that my em2 has.. boring with speed, boring with handling, but comfortable on long drives.

Thanks for posting man! Can't wait to see the updated pics when you get your new whip.

If you don't like the floormats in your sti I think esx005 may still have the ones that he bought for his 04 sti. Seeing the inside of your car brought back many things.. that just happened to be one of them. I love sti's.. Once you get the hang of the clutch they're just fun.

I have the blue ones too, I just can't bring myself to put them in and get them dirty. The only thing I don't like about those particular mats is they don't have anything to keep them in place and I have to scoot them back every time I get in.

Yep, STi's come with a flux capacitor, so once I hit 88mph on my test drive we went back in time to fix my previous car buying mistakes.

Yeah, boring to drive is an understatement. But I love the look of the em2's, especially dropped with some rims and the hfp kit.

*Suzy Q from emhonda.com's car*

I love her car.. and I will eventually buy the kit and some different rims for mine. I was lined up to buy an fg2 a while back but used the money for going back to college. But that's a double edged blade, because now I have to drive 60 miles to go to school (round trip) so I spend more time driving the car that bores me. Oh well.. I'm hopefully about to start working again and I'll refinance this car to get the payments lower and let my girl take it, then it's ek hatch time for me. x10. I've been wanting to build a k-swapped hatch for a good amount of time now, and instead of having monthly payments I can build it as I have extra cash & it will be paid for.

Trust me though, if I could afford an fa5 right now.. there'd be one in my driveway and I'd be v-taaaakkkking all the way to school.

I love the front of the EM2. I nearly bought one in 2005... but then more information started coming out about the FG2... and I waited.
