I'm fairly sure that the Si and Civic sit along the same line on the back...
I haven't looked at mine in a while, but I'd double check that, and question it if yours is wrong.
Merry Christmas to you

took my car to the dealer today, had the honda guys looked at my Si emblem and they confirmed the it was awkwardly positioned (it was sitting way high compared to the other cars). Took couple mins for them to take out the old one and replaced with a new one that sits at the right height and is not crooked anymore.. Ill post up a pic when i get back from my trip.

Thanks FBI .. i think i might be getting my kit from them (DCH Honda). They quoted me $960 for the kit and $226 for fog lights and $700 for the 18inch wheels. They all seem good but i think im gonna pick up the kit and the fogs first.

not to make you worry, but you should question them as to WHY it was wrong. it didnt come that way from teh plat, so that means somthign happened when it was on the lot.

Yeah, when i brought the car in.. i asked them why it would be crooked like that, I had a honda body mechanic come out to check it out and he said the factory slaps on the Si emblem by hand. He showed me that all the cars' parts have a special serial number that corresponds with the car. I mean if it was replaced .. then sucks for me. Would i be able to find out from carfax?

As for the Lip Kit..DCH Honda for $960. Pretty good deal right guys?

lies...all lies. there are part numbers, not serial numbers. if my si badge was on your car, you would have no way to tell....there is no serial number and the part number isnt even printed on it.

whether the factory puts it on by hand or not, they have done a great job of putting it in an idnetical location on every other car...maybe the "decal slapper" was drunk the day yours was built? lol

you shoul dhave had an outside mechanic take a look at it, a honda body worker would defiantly of known the history of that car and would know to lie if he needed to.

it could be somthing as simple as a asshoel stole the emblem off your car when it was on teh lot, or it could be your car has had body work done from some type of accident....take it to a outside body shop just to make sure.

probably what happened when the car was shipped in it was damaged in shipment on the trunk and had to be replaced.

either way, the si emblem in the position it was, means most likely your trunk was damaged before!
