^^ not bad edits at all! for the second one, id try adding a bit more saturation just a littttttttle bit more, and the first one looks good for a b&w photo!

also for the first one, i like the little citrus touch the photo appears to have

haha sorry dude, didn't wanna turn you down. If it makes you feel better, yours are some of the best ones that have tried.. compared to the other ones.
the first post might explain it better.

first off.. your second picture, the rear is cut off. Sure, you can cut off parts of the car and have it still look good, but there are many more ways in which you just can't. Black and white is cool, but if it's just black and white, then its just bland. It lacks the proper contrast, as well as composition needed to make a good pic. Finally, the background is a big thing. What's not appealing is an open door, randomness laying on the ground, more cars in the background..
Basically, your pics look like you washed your car, grabbed the cam, took the pics, uploaded them, and bam.

Good composition.. basically knowing where to stand at the right angle.
Lighting is important but get the basics down first.

you don't need a 12mp camera to make it nice. look at joshua pictures he did it with a cell phone camera.

Some people just don't get it. You don't need a DSLR or expensive camera to produce nice pictures.

A camera is only as good as the person using it.

You are shooting your pictures directly in the direction of lights, and they are out of focus and poorly exposed.
