well.. i'm assuming that since your deciding on an m3, you are financially OK to do so.

so the question is.. why NOT make the jump? and why stay with a civic?

GTR will cost the same as the M3, probably cheaper (base is supposed to be 57k) and spank the living shit out of it.

If you can afford an $800 a month payment, then why not? I'm assuming you already live on your own, have all your bills in check, and don't rely on your parents for anything but advice. Because if you still lived with mom and pops and was willing to pay $800 a month for a car but want to still live with them, THAT would be a joke.

But hey, there is people out there that think that way. Would rather have that fancy car and live at home with their parents, never really doing anything with their lives.

Would be absolutely awesome, but only if you can afford it without having to struggle to get by every month. Have you bought a house yet? Might be a more sound investment?!

...WTF am I saying... it's an M3... GET IT!!!

But, seriously, about the house...

well the plan is the parents will be moving back home soon, and this will be my house until I am done law school. they theres the idea to get the car before law school, but eh wtf I will be paying loans out of my arse.

I haven't made any plans for the car yet,. I will meet with a salesperson this week and talk about it. it sucks to be middle class and not up there with the rich folk. lol

I would love to live with my parent...I don't know why soo many people hate living with their parent, personally i love it. Maybe is because I am board...but i miss my parent

To the OP, I personally suggest you save the money and "wait" to buy a house looking at how the economy is going, alot of nice houses might be up for grab in no time...

I am 22, and I have my own room with my parents in the city. close to my work. Why move out now? Plus I am going back to school.

I love the comments. I will think real hard about this one.

The economically sound and practical way to go about your situation would be to not buy the car yet and save the money, maybe for your own house in the future (especially if you are going to start a family in the next few years, etc). Maybe invest if you are itching to spend some hard earned cash... but at this point in your life just isn't amazingly practical. How bad would it suck if you found the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with, you are ready to have your own place with her and possibly kids, but you can't afford it because of your car payment? Pretty shitty... though it would be so ridiculously awesome and player to own an M3 at 22....

...but the way I see it, you have 60+ years to enjoy fine, expensive, and exotic cars, why rush into it?

I assume $800 is for everything (car payment and insurance), isn't it. If not, i think it is better if you use the money for investment, let's say like buying a house.

But some people may say that you only life one time.. Enjoy it while you can, get what you want, buy what you desire..

The choice is yours...

that is a great car but that is also a BIG note and your a student or soon to be... hey u only live once. why not get in debt up to your eye balls..at the same time i don't know how yall roll up their-ballers in B-mers. hey if i could afford it i would roll out in the M3... but if u pick up chics in the new M3 r u really goin to bring them back to your parents house? not cool..good luck w/ that decision.

what does bringing back girls to the house have to do with it? WHat a lame comment dude. I'm sorry but that sounded childish. I want the m3 because I love cars, not because I want to get a girl in the sac. I can do that on a huffy.

mods lock this thread if it gets out of hand. I ask for serious comments suggestions, not lame remarks.

For the record, I like sticking with the parents until I am done school. unlike many others who barely see their family and regret it when its too late.
