Hello everyone...

Been reading up on this site for a week or two.
Love all the info's here. Since I got my car, couldn't afford to get mods

My Ride:
Honda Civic Si 2007 Silver (about 15000km, about 8mths old)

I'm new to manuals, so i'm guessing that is why my si don't seem to shift smoothly. Is it me or is it just the car?

most likely you, sorry haha. since ur new to manuals tho u shouldnt b to worried about it. with practice you will get better. i have been driving manuals for 4 years now, and would say im a pretty good driver now. almost feels like an automatic now, and i feel like shifting comes naturally.

hey all you kats and kittens out there. This is my first post, just wanted to say hello.

I got a black FA5 about 3 weeks ago (traded the wifes Jeep Liberty for it, and its my car ) and the first thing I did was take it on a 3500 mile road trip around the Western U.S. I had my two little boys in the back seat and my wife sitting next to me and for about 2 weeks we just drove. It was great! Smooth, comfortable, it tackled everything from the flats in New Mexico to the mountains in Colorado to (get this, on 28 May) snowfall in Montana! We're back now in Alamogordo, New Mexico and I really, really, really x10 need to wash her. I've got bugs from 6 different states on the front bumper, and its ugly!!

Anyway, I've been on here a few times reading posts, and mostly doing research. Came across 8th from Honda-tech and I liked the info here and decided to register. In addition to the FA5 I also have a 92 DX hatch that I have built for autocross. She's been in storage for the last year (I had to go to Korea) but will be resurrected soon enough.

Peace

Finally purchased a 2007 GG EX sedan for my wife. Now it's time for accessories and upgrades. I know there is a wealth of information on this site for these items but feel free to reply with any and all of your suggestions. My first question is how and what did any of you do to add some bass to the factory stereo? I need something that doesn't take up that much trunk space and the dealer added subs didn't impress me, my neighbor had them installed when he purchased his sedan. Well thanks for a great site and hope to be posting on a regular basis. I will add pics as soon as I get my pics uploaded.

What's up to all the drivers. I haven't seen very many Si sedans out there, well I have some details for all of you.

2007 si sedan
einke rpf1 wheels, very ligt
bfgoodrich g force kdw's, best street tire I have owned
eibach sport line drop
tanabe under brace
megan rear tie bar
megan front lower bar/also fire wall brace
progress 22mm rear sway bar
exedy heavy duty clutch/light weight flywheel
twm short shifter and aluminum bushings
cor sport trans bushings/very stiff!
hondata intake manifold gasket
cor sport throttle body gasket
dc sports race header/with factory exhuast
hondata reflash
2008 civic type r sedan shift knob
torco 5w 30 oil
coming soon!
lsd motorsports exhaust 2.5 inch/tested 14hp on the dyno
eibach adjustable sway bars/ possible 31mm front

I had the FG which is an awesome car, but I believe this to the best balanced civic in production today.

Great News!
I installed my lsdmotorsports exhaust and the fittment is perfect, sound is wicked, and the performance is unbelievable. Mated with the dc header or any other high flow component for that matter, should give you about 10 to 13hp over stock. By the way, I'm not guessing I have already made a trip to the dyno.

I just replaced my 1998 B16 powered sedan for a 2007 Si sedan in GG. I still have my other sedan, I'm probably keeping it for a winter beater. I've had my Si for about 3 weeks now and I love it. The K20 is a much needed improvement over my B16. I plan on doing the usual mods(intake, exhaust, reflash), replacing the wheels and some suspension tuning to start. But don't really want to crack open the engine, until its payed off in a couple of years. I plan to also do some light body work but that won't be till next summer. Hopefully I'll have some progress to show in the next couple of weeks. I look forward to being part of this community, I've been with jdmcivic since 2004 and have some knowledge to share.

Just saying hi

Hey, I just wanted to say hello. I have a 2007 Si Coupe in Fiji Blue Pearl with about 700 miles on it. I haven't had much time to modify it yet, but I did get a teflon coat for the paint and a fresh Turtlewax ICE wax, I removed all badging and stickers from the car with the exception of the two Honda logos on the front and the back. I just got a full tint job yesterday: 5% limo tint around the back and quarter panels, 20% dark on the front sides, and 35% medium on the front windshield. I am planning on putting on an Injen intake in the next two weeks, as well as doing a fully custom Cat-back cherry bomb set up with 3" outlet. I've found the Do-It yourselfs on this website to be infinitely helpful and I can't wait to keep upgrading the car. Without a doubt, this is the best civic yet.

This is officially my first post. The Si Sedan was my favorite car since the first time I saw one, and when I got rear-ended and hit another car and totaled my 03 Civic coupe, it was an easy choice, so here I am in my 8th gen Civic. Nice to meet you all.

Hello, all. First post... Last week I traded in my 2005 Mustang V6 manual for a 2007 Civic EX automatic. I'm enjoying it fairly well so far although the lack of power and handling is hard to get used to. Hopefully the MPG will ease the pain. I may have opted for the Si but auto tranny was a must-have for me since I endure nearly 3 hours per day of bumper-to-bumper traffic.

So far I've only added window tinting; 35% front-side and 20% on the rest. I'm considering a wing spoiler but I'll probably just go with a lip. New door speakers soon too, hopefully. New tweeters too I suppose because I can't hear the factory ones at all. Better handling would be nice. I'm interested in front/rear sway bars and would love to drive someone's car that has done that mod to see if it's worth the effort and cost or not. I'm not really interested in performance mods for power. Oh and the horn... I'd almost rather have no horn at all! LOL
