I'm not the newest member. I signed up in April when I got my royale blue DX-VP. But then it was totalled. Now I just got my Atomic Blue Civic DX-VP automatic today.

The sadly shortlived royale blue metallic Civic DX-VP was totalled with 100 miles on it after I was run off of the road by a tractor trailer 2 days after I got it (4/22/09).

Glad I updated my insurance from the base coverage I had for my first car- a dark blue 4 door Civic DX. It had 203,000 miles when traded in. Never got in an accident- then the new one got waffle ironed.

But i can vouch for the safety of the 8th generation civic- it was rollover and I escaped with a scratch on my elbow. It took me a while to find the same great deal I got in April--

I will post some pictures when I get a chance- and if I feel bold I may take some pictures of the totaled one when I go out to reclaim my possessions thursday-- especially the 9.99 autozone floormats I bought for the first one the day I got it.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get an EX-type cover for the open counsel in between the front seats. No big deal but I am a bit curious.
