Hey peoples. My Names Douglas, From Orange County NY. Found your site interesting, was actually browsing it before I purchased my new 08 Si Sedan. Seeing pros and cons between everyone. Im not lookin to modify it, I already owned one show car which i traded in :'( it will be missed, an 05 srt4, and all I gotta say is modifiying your car, keep all your spare parts cause you get $0 for it. I knew it was going to be a loss, BUT i needed a new car due to my promotion and I needed to travel, And i cant drive a show car or my 99 civic hatch which was rattling and old etc everyday for almost an hour. So i just picked up the new whip today, its pretty nice, already lookin at threads to improve mpg etc etc and well..hope to keep the car running good for a long time. Hope to meet alot of nice people on here, was already part of ek9.org dont know if anyone was a part of that by any chance?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the 8th Gen Civic forum.
 I haven't done any lurking (just picked up my Civic yesterday), but I plan on doing a lot of it before I post anymore, I just wanted to introduce myself first. I'm relatively new to the Honda world, this is only my second one. I bought my first Honda (a 2002 S2000) about 3 years ago and decided that Honda is the way for me. I'm not very smart on anything that's not AP1 related though, so I'm gonna have a lot of questions. Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can about my new Civic and hopefully I'll be a productive member of 8th gen soon.Oz Last edited by Ozzie; 10-25-2008 at 08:29 PM. |

Hey Whats up. Just bought a 2007 si coupe ( used but in great condition ). Looking to do alot of things to my new toy, Car came with a few mods already which was good for me. Now its time for the real fun to start , thats why im here..

New Civic Owner!
Hello Everybody!
Been a lurker on this forum for a few weeks now, learned some information from the users which persuaded me to purchase a 2008 ASM Civic SI. I plan to do basic mods (I/H/E) - not to sure about anything past that since i just spent my life savings. Picking my baby up from the dealer tuesday - Look for some pics SOON! This is my first manual car - so any help would be greatly appriciated! |
