If so, props on the car man. I used to read Zilvia some back before I totaled my S14 and replaced it with a FA5.

Just got a brand new (Odo had 4 miles after 7 months!) 2007 GG Civic EX coupe with manual on new years eve. 1st Honda was a 93 Civic. Dealer had car on lot since 5/07 so I got an excellent deal, but the battery was dead Love the car so far, joins my current stable of my other vehicles.

At my GF's house, after claybar/Porter cable with Meguair's DACP and mother's reflections wax on top

coulda brought an SI for around 17,000 on here almost spankin new. woulda sold you mines with mods. oh well maybe next time. nice car though.

I thought about the SI, but I decided to keep the Bimmer for the fun stuff as it's already paid off. I needed something that gets good gas mileage (my previous Honda was a 93 Civic which I consistenly got EPA of 34), The SI get's only 1-2 better mpg than the 330i (I get around 26) & needs premium to boot. It also needs to run on cheap tires/cheap maintenance as $850 per set of tires every 20,000 miles on the BMW kills me on my 180 mile round trip everyday commute. (I was previously eating through 2 sets of Michelin Pilot Sport 2's every year.) The truck only gets 16mpg so I won't go there.

hello

I'm not really new to the site but I never have posted before. I was just a reader until now because I had an 06 civic lx but with the r18 engine I just wanted to look and not modify. That came to an end when someone decided to drive around cars stopped at a red light trying to go through an intersection. My car just happened to be going through the intersection to be T-boned lol. Oh well I ordered an 08 civic si back in october but they said I won't be getting it till February so I am really looking into my first F/I car. I'll try and post pictures up of my totalled car and my new car when I get it.

Hey everyone, my name's Ashley. I really enjoy seeing everyone's posts. I've been watching and waiting for the third gear grinding and rev hang issues to be resolved before buying an SI. I just saw a 2008 review and sure enough they had the same issues! Everyone here seems to love their SI's. Is it worth getting one or is the third gear and rev hang issue something that is going to drive me crazy?
