what's up?

What's going on fellas and ladies; Just joined this awesome site, look forward to reading about and seeing some nice 8th gen civic projects. I decided to get myself an si, and baught one the day before my birthday, drove away in my new silver si on my birthday. I have already put 6000+ miles since january 21; just love this car.
As far as mods, I already installed some s-tech lowering springs, and am awaiting the arrival of a set of 18" volk gt-7s. I'm purchasing a seibon CF hood, some time next month.
At this point, I would like to improve the car's handling, once there is access to sway bars, and other suspension goodies, they will go on the car; I'm also on a waiting list for a 70mm type1 R full exhaust system, can't wait, thanks for having me fellas.

holy crap i completely missed this thread- im shawn from winnipeg, manitoba... in canada. Nevertheless, im 18 and my habanero red SI is the second civic that i have purchased and i LOVE it.

no mods planned as i need a good reliable daily driver with alittle bit of pep. May get a k&n drop in filter but other than that... nothin really planned for it.

Howdy. I'm Simmons, from Tucson, AZ. I'm scheduled to get the Si sedan this fall or winter, in either white, silver, or galaxy gray. No mods planned (for now, though I'll probably upgrade to the 18" wheels assuming it comes with 17"s), but it will make the commute way more fun than my current 94 Accord LX 5-speed (171,000 miles; I'm the original owner). Glad to find this forum, and looking forward to learning a lot from the other good folks here.

I feel you tcel, I was thinking the same thing until I saw it. I didn't get the navi tho. I didn't know if it was because I didn't want to wait 4 months or didnt want to spend the extra 2 grand for a map...or both. I kinda like the colored display that you would lose with the navi, so I think I'll be ok.

Anyone know if theres a jack for ipods in the Si without navi?

Hi All,

Just got my Civic SI in white Saturday night. Love the car! This is my second Honda since the 89 civic and I have to say this car feels really solid and is a blast to drive! I will post pictures as soon as I can clean the car. It has been raining in Northern California and the car needs to be washed. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I read the forum every other day and really enjoy reading everyone's post.

Thanks!
kymecs
new white civic si owner :)
