07 NBP Civic Si trashed :(
Well, just like the title says, my Si was wrecked earlier today. I was on my way home from work (left work early to go for my FIRST oil change) heading down a residential street doing the speed limit. There's a right-hand turn approaching up ahead where they have to yield. Next thing I know, I see this lady in a blue Pontiac Sunfire bolting down, failing to yield and didn't even look left where she was turning. Next thing I know, this is how my car looks....

It's funny, the cops were really compassionate for me. The lady's family came out and tried to put a guilt trip on me saying it was my fault and that the lady "knew these roads well, and drives them all the time." Apparently she doesn't know them well enough that she doesn't YIELD to a damn yield sign.
And when they were harassing me, the cops basically screamed at her family to get off the road and stop harassing me. The cop even pulled me aside and was just laughing saying that they have absolutely no case especially considering the way the accident was with her having a yield sign, etc. |
