Should I get an 07/08 now? Or wait?

K my parents said I can get the honda civic si 07 now, or I can keep my chevy blazer 2000 for a year and then buy a new car...

What do you guys think I should do? I know the mugen's will be out by then.. right? So maybe I can pick up one of those if they are 25K and not more.

Also, kinda off topic. What would happen if a cop pulled me over for watching a movie in my car while driving?

Can I hook up my AVIC-Z2 to an xbox to play halo in the car?

I would get an Si now if that is the car you want why wait?? The mugen Si will not be under 25k. Lastly, around me it is illegal to have any screen facing the front seats......but they may vary by state.

I'm from Chicago, i know navigation is legal, but im just curious about the penalties for abusing it :)

just get the 07 i mean if u get an 08 then ull have to wait a year for good parts a if u get pulled over watchin a movie youll get a wreckless drivin ticket trust me

Yeah I probably should clarifiy this more anything on screen (movies, games, etc..) are illegal in VA unless the car is stopped. Rev hang is a whole other issue search and ye shall find. Long story short combo of DBW throttle and emissons control makes "revs hang" while shifting.

Rev hang was only an issue on 06 SIs. it was fixxed for 07. and any moving picture in front of the driver is highly illegal. big ticket. thats why I have a switch on mine so if I know a cop is around and could possibly see it I hit the switch and the picture goes off. also I highly highly doubt that a mugen version will be released here in the US. you can buy the mugen parts now and make one if you want.

also...if you wait for the 2008...you'll only have the newer updates on the si's but that is if they perfect it somehow...adn if you get an 07 you get less miles so if u ever want to trade it in...ull have not that many. also the 07's have some sell's going around, i think.
