Recenty Joined - 07 Acura CSX

A couple of quick pictures from a new member Just recently obtained an 07 Acura CSX Premium non Navi in NHBP. This is the not the Type S version, but comes with the 2.0L engine, and leather. 5 Speed Manual. Got an excellent deal on a new set of 02-04 Acura 17x7.5" A-Spec wheels, so I will use the stock alloys for winter tires. 225/45-17 ZR17 summer tires. 35% Formula One Pinnacle Series tint.

I am too old, an there are too many potholes and there is too much snow up here in winter to even consider a drop. I'll leave that to you yoiung guys!!!Just wanted an economical, fun commuter car.

Re importing a CSX into USA

I think you can, but I do not think you would want to. Canadian car prices are out of line (read higher) with US pricing on similar cars. A few years ago this might have made sense with the value of the US $ versus the Canadian dollar. At one time a few years ago, our dollar was worth about 60 cents US. Today, our dollar is trading for over 94 cents US, and some are predicting it will reach par in the fall. I think it is more of an issue of a weak US dollar against most foreign currencies.

Looks good! Welcome to the 8th gen.

Not sure why you are saying that you don't want to drop the car, because there isn't much snow in Aurora even in the winter. I am planning to drop mine, but not too much so I won't plow the 401 in the winter.

Anywhere north of Highway 7 is a different world as far as snow goes. I work in Mississauga near the airport, and I can tell you that the real snow starts north of 7 and gets worse as you get past 7, and gets really bad north of Newmarket heading to Barrie.

Besides, I'll leave the drop stuff to you young guys. I'm old. I should really be driving a Buick Lucerne with bench seats at my age.

I see a CSX in the parking lot at school and I cannot get enough of the back end of it. I won't bother to fix that last sentence.
