I just got back from the dealership, put a deposit on a Taf. white si, coming in a month or so.

The Si is NOT worth losing your ass on a trade like that. I love my Si & all, but if I were you, I wouldnt trade that in for one.

I debated it for a while... I loved the LGT and all but it really wasn't all it was cracked up to be

The metal and paint is real shitty, definately worse than honda it dents if you look at it. Interior is crappy also, gas milage was terrible because of full time awd, doesnt handle as good as the si. ALso im tired of the turbo motor, I want somthing High comp, and NA. Had lots of reasons, for trading it in, I can understand why people would think its a downgrade, but not to me.

Great decision you made there. Most people only care about HP.

well as for the honda paint it's in the same catagory it sucks...pictures to prove!

Thanks for the welcome... Since people seem to like it heres some more pics of the GT.

I had a bunch of mods on that car but I think I'm gonna go slower with the Si, wheels exterior and maybee coilovers until the warranty is up, than I'll work on the power, brakes and whatnot.

Congrats on the si, but the legacy will outhandle an si anyday IMHO. :flamesuit: Matter of fact, with the spec b being released they soon figured out that the platform of the legacy was more capable than the platform of the impreza, which is why the new STi (and all imprezas) will be on the legacy platform and the impreza platform is going bye bye for good. I can 100% understand the gas mileage killing you though.. I would hate that.

Buuuut, it's what makes you happy that really matters. I know what it's like to want a car that you don't have, I just don't have the courage to lose as much money as you (or a fraction of it, at that) just to get the car that I want.

All in all, congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the community.. I swear that this isn't really a community, it's an e-family. I'm sure you'll love it here. :)
