Hey

I've been a lurker on these forums for quite sometime. I've never really liked civics until i saw a 2006 Si coupe two doors down from me. I researched everything and stumbled across this site =D. I currently own a 1999 toyota camry with 200,000 miles on the body, but with a newer engine. I drove my moms newer 2001 camry and it feels so much better tighter and generally better overall ride. I was wonder what i would need to fix that on my car new shocks? What kind should i get. I just recently joined the Airforce (Basic training sept.4) So hopefully i'll be able to afford myself a spanking new 2007 si 4 door. I am contemplating waiting for 2009 for the next style to come out =P.
Thanks for reading my rambling currently drinking. Oh and if this is in the wrong forum i'm sorry

Well normally sway bars, springs etc will increase handling. For the 99 Camry you might want to check and see you might be able to swap the 01 sway bars. Not familar at all with the Camry but if the body is the same they might have just upgraded the way bars. Or if they are different models they would have different suspension parts as well

99 camry and 01 camry is identical in terms of quality, parts used. its just yours is worn out. if you want performance oriented, go with tokico shocks with eibach prokit. if you want a lower drop go with solara's gen 1.5 eibach kit which works too but slightly lower.

i also have a Whiteline brand spanking new rear sway bar and new unopenned package of stainless steel brakelines up for grabs. i used to own a 01 camry and was a member of ToyotaNation before buying my Si. if your interested let me know

You wont make much once you first get in unless your married and can live off of base. YOu should save your money the first 3 years on base and you can get what you want after that. Just wait to you get to basic and your first paycheck is like 300$.
