conversion is done ...

EDIT new link....painted parts on the car...... csx front, usdm Si rear = .....

EDIT .... DAY PICS
also conversion will take u about 2 hrs only.

well ... the conversion is done ...
bizzybearfigiblu couldn't wait to see the damn thing on so he came over and started to do it with my cousin while i took his car for a ride to best buy

the Kit is 100% bolt on ... everything lines up perfectly, everything bolts on perfectly in stock mounting locations, the only thing that doesn't mount like stock in the bumper and mugen grill but they still mount ...

u'll need ...
hood, bumper, fenders, L+R bumper supports, headlights, L+R headlight brackets, grill ... i got the fogs also though ...

the CDM hood is a lil longer than the stock grill because it has the line in the middle and it has to come to a peak in the front ... i like that lil touch but cuz of that it kinda isn't perfect with the grill but u won't see it if u don't know ... the JDM grill is more like stock(flat and rounded up front) ... but either way u go it's 100% bolt on and will look great ...

some differences between JDM + CDM parts ..
JDM = clear corners on headlights
CDM = amber corners

JDM = flat hood + rounded front
CDM = line down middle + apexed front

JDM = flat front bumper
CDM = line in middle of bumper to match hood
the bumpers looks exactly the same though apart from a line down the middle which is hardly noticeable ...

The headlights use 5 bulbs!!!! i have no clue why or what they are for but they create a lil issue ...

the DRL go where it's supposed to
the high is good as well ...
the turn signal goes closer to the grill ... i.e on the inside of the headlight and not in the amber corner!! that is a problem cuz now u don't have a turn signal in the regular location ... the amber location doesn't even use a regular turn signal bulb so i need to find out what bulb goes there and how i can integrate it into the wiring ...

integrating it into the wiring won't be hard though ... the turn signal that just went where it did (lol) will just have to be wired up into the new bulb when i find out what it is and it will work as it's supposed to after ...

then there's those couple other bulb holes which IMO are not useful at all ... they just seem to be some sought of city lights ... all the main lights work with the exception of the turn signal i mentioned above ...

u can either ...
1. buy a new wire harness to include all the bulbs... but i need to find out if it's a direct plug in to our USDM model ... that would be the best thing though ..
2. just wire up an amber bulb in like mentioned above.

on to some night pictures ... better day pictures tomorrow ...

first thing i noticed when driving is that the headlights are crazy bright ... i'd thing i had projectors!! they would be just as bright as tsx projectors maybe even close to s2k ones if they were the color temp of 4300k projectors ... they only thing is there's no real sharp cut off but the cut off can be seen ... it's really amazing how bright it is ... surprising ...

the cost of this thing ....
well ... password jdm sell it for 3300 + shipping
member NBPRudy who was gracious enough to help me out with this project from Performance Acura in Canada will save u some money ... i cannot mention the cost cuz i was given some great prices and i doubt he'll take a hit like that on every kit ... either way it will work out cheaper than password jdm ...
where u purchase will depend on cost + preference in headlights etc like the differences mentioned above ...

the parts arrived without any missing bolts or screws or anything ... no damages ...

NBPRudy was also gracious enough to add a free gift ... forgot to take a pic but it's a Die Cast Acura NSX!!!!! thank you so very much ...

i will not be doing the rear end soon ... even if the wife wants me to ... i like the stock rear end a lot...

NBPRudy ... i need some info. on the turn signal bulb that goes in the amber section of the light ... will call u tomorrow concerning that and maybe some wire harness information ...

YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY
day pics tomorrow ... then off to the paint shop ...

any questions?
