One Year Re-cap: Cojaro's RR EX R18
Well, it's been a full year since I got my car in February. I was driving an '99 Dakota Sport, sunshine yellow, for about a year and a half before, but my step-dad decided that he wanted to make the Dakota his daily driver to keep the miles on his 328is low. So, when I turned 18, my dad (not step-dad), who had usually spoiled me with things like computers and stuff in past years, enlightens me that he has gotten me a new Civic. My reaction =
What I got about 3 months later was a 2006 Rallye Red Civic EX AT. I had to wait the extra 3 months after my birthday for the Rallye Red color, but it was totally worth it. Extras included the HFP lip kit, the HFP 17" rims, rear lip spoiler, exhaust finisher, and sunroof visor. ![]() ![]() Since I got the car, here's what's been done: Philips Bluevision Headlights and High Beams ![]() Xenon map lights ![]() Chrome turn signal/reverse lights ![]() ![]() AEM CAI ![]() 35% tint side and rear ![]() ![]() Si front and rear sway bars (only have a pic of the front, comparing the EX rear and Si rear) ![]() Magnaflow "cat-back" exhaust ![]() ![]() new, non-pussy horn ![]() and most recently, black Butter Suede door sections [IMG] [/IMG]I don't have pictures of these: custom blue under-dash accent lighting LED licence plate lights Megan Racing "downpipe" (although it's very shiny!) My very first mod was an air freshener that says "Dirty White Boy". I also removed the Civic emblem on the back and removed the sun visor, as it was making a horrid rattle whenever I had the sunroof open. Kinda hard to enjoy an open sunroof when you can hear a constant rattle, even with the music on 16. And since I've got it, I've gone almost 10k miles in it and the fastest it's gone is 117mph (i was following a Porsche on the highway). The only problems I've had with it are a few rattles (which I've given up onthe dealership fixing; I'm gonna hunt and kill those rattles) and a broken driver-side sun visor, which, for some reason, broke after about 4 months. I love my car.Last edited by cojaro; 03-13-2007 at 10:41 PM. |

^^^ That sounds like it's a massive horn... I'm going w/ the Honda Fit/Accord horn (should be coming in today!), which I hear is a decent upgrade for the price, and b/c it's plug-n-play for those of us who don't want to bother (i.e., too dumb to) w/ splicing.
