Smile Former S2000 Owner gone Civic Si...

Well, where do I begin? I am in the Army and currently stationed in Korea. I owned a 2003 S2000 for 2 years which lead me to my beautiful Wife (ni_ole - 8thcivic username) that I met at a local NY Car Show. We got married in July 2011 and found out she was pregnant at the end of Sept. I left for Korea in Dec 2011 and got the call that the baby was on the way in May 2012. I made it home just 2 days after our handsome Son was born. While I was home on leave in May I sold my 2003 S2000 to a local guy (friend) because we needed to save and purchase a more "Family Friendly" vehicle. I returned to Korea in June 2012 and shortly after my Wife ended up moving to her parents house so we could save money. Months and months went by and we talked about getting so many different vehicles...2006 Evo 9, 2013 STi, 2013 Sonata 2.0T, etc. So, finally after much needed talking and thinking we found a perfect deal!! This all started after renting a 08 Civic LX Sedan when I was home on leave and we liked it very much, but coming from a S2000 I needed something with a lil more power lol. Sooooo...2009 Honda Civic Si Sedan w/ 45k miles it was!! I stayed up all night (14hr difference) with my Wife while she was at the Stealership and made the deal. She drove her home and stored her safe in the garage until I get home in 3-4 weeks. Then we are leaving good ol' NY bound for TX for my Army M.I. School...

I'd probably rather have an AP2 but if I did come across a super clean full red Ap1, i'd go for it :P

Otherwise i'll probably end up with a Suzuka Blue AP2 with full blue inside since they are easier to track down.

Nice post and welcome you too! I'm new to the Civic Si game, I used to drive an '04 350Z (my first love) and remember when a kid drove up behind me on some back roads in an Si and I thought to myself how I couldn't picture myself driving an Si... Well here I am now lol.

How do you feel about the transition from RWD to FWD?

Anyway, welcome, thanks for your service, clean S2000 and congrats on the lil guy!!

Wow, I haven't been on this website in literally half a decade. Surprised I still remember my username and password!

Congrats on the purchase, Justin. I'm thoroughly convinced that these cars are unbreakable with all the shenanigans I put mine through.

There are much better wheels to be had for about the same money as the soft(bend easily) HFP wheels. Forget doing just lowering sprigs because the car will still understeer, opt instead for @ least HFP suspenion which is very decently priced & proven to perform. Junk2 products, your money & your car. Forget the brake lines & upgrade the brake fluid & pads instead.

Full red interior in an S is the seks

What's wrong with Skunk2? Back when I was still posting on these forums, people were jerking off to Skunk 2 products.
