Re: RR buildup across seas

I am looking into a dual exhaust rear conversion. Sid you copy how the RR is or route your pipe a different way?

It was actually a bit of a headache, if you go under you can see there isn't much space to put anything unless you want your piping riding on the ground, But what I did is there's a plastic covering in the back if you remove it you see it's not covering anything and theres a wide open space right next to original piping, from the curve of the original I cut and made a Y pipe one to each side, suffered a bit in sound cuz the exhaust set up was now split into 2 outings, but I think the exchange was worth it

Very nice! I know where you are talking about. I wonder if 3" pipe will fit or if I need to downsize.

Nice! I will definitely try it when it comes time. Great work for r18 chassis. I say turbo it instead of k20/k24 swap unless you dont mind getting tranny, wiring harness, ecu, etc. for it. I have a friend on a gt28 series turbo, 1.8L engine pushing 270/240 to the wheels.

The thing is to b completely honest my school is about 9 blocks away i basically never go into 4th gear lol and medical school I have very little free time to go out for next 3 years and when I do have free time I go home to NYC where I have an 08 c300.. So to drop 5-8k on a swap would b crazy for me but mayb when I'm finished I'll do it to complete the conversion and be satisfied
