New Family Member: SI meet GTI

Hey guys just posting up pics of my wife's new 09 GTI with 24k miles on it. We got a great deal on the car and couldn't be happier. The car is fully stock right now and can't wait to see what I can run at the drag strip with it. Definitely going to make it faster. Well here are some pics after their quick bath together... and yes I know the GTI is in a desperate need of a drop.

I tried to get my wife a GTI but she wanted the Mini cooper S more.... Congrats!

Ya i like all the cool little features that come on the newer German cars... I find new little things every time the wife lets me drive it

No its not hahaha. I do like the GTI a lot though it *feels* quick because of the really good low end passing power but it lacks top end charge.

Ultimately the Si is a much better drivers car and the GTI is an upscale amazing DD hot hatch.

The experience just feels more numb than the SI even though it is a little faster than one stock-for-stock

Its so refined and comfortable
200ft lbs at 1800 rpms feels sick

Lol if Honda had a nice hot hatch we'd have another honda... But they dont so GTI it is.

I'm no fan boy I like a lot of cars but I do believe honda has the best value and engines
