Exclamation Jo-Tech performance/Joey Ramirez scammers?

I was on a other forum and stumbled across this thread. I thought I'd post it here since Jo-Tech has a lot of business from this forum.

Original thread, jo-tech performance and joey ramirez, scammers??? you decide. - Honda-Tech

Cliffs:

~Guy spends $1600 on crank and rods
~was instructed to make payments to three different accounts
~This was a year ago roughly
~A forum friend went to Jo-Tech to collect on the parts which weren't there
~Guy has now accepted the fact that he may have been scammed out of $1600

This is sad to see, i see jo-tech post a lot in our forums, maybe they will chime in and shine some light on this. If nothing else the guy can open a dispute through pay pal

The thread is from Jo-Tech from Central Florida. Not Dallas, Tx..

The thread isn't really one sided..... That's the truth. However JoTech simply operated as a financial channel in the transaction and handed the money over to the owner of the stroker kit, leaving it up to them to finish the transaction.

I am the one that attempted to collect the stroker kit from Jo-Tech recently with no luck. However Jo-Tech contacted me today and we are trying to resolve this situation. I am suppose to hear back from him today to go and pick up the stroker kit from either the owners house or he will bring it by the shop.

So I spent a few hours this evening at JoTech's shop...... All for nothing.

We were trying to figure out how the situation could be resolved if the stroker kit could not be recovered. JoTech mentioned something about Joey's motor setup that he has @ the shop as an option, however declined to take any action about using it as such when I agreed to doing so. His reason for not wanting to do so was because he did not want additional issues with Joey and his father.

JoTech, you seem to be a a good guy with good intentions, but sometimes the good has to suffer for the bad. I am not sure why you continue to protect Joey even though you admit that he doesn't care about the situation. Joey used you and your shop to sling parts, yet you are afraid to have him pay for the situation now when he has put your business in this position. Joey was the seller and at that time he was employed with JoTech Performance, also mentioned your name a few times in the deal. PayPal transactions show payment went to your business. You have to accept SOME responsibility in this matter. The only time Joey says you have nothing to do with the situation is when you call him and tell him to come on here to say otherwise. He chimed in yesterday(after 3 stagnant months), said to put all the blame on him, yet he is not making any attempt to right the wrong.

We also tried going to the owner of the stroker kits house today but it was a game of cat and mouse. As we entered the gate for the complex, they were exiting, then they bolted and got away from us due to us having to wait on the gate to open back up again.

JoTech, don't stick your neck out for someone that isn't sticking their neck out for you. Not sure how long you want to sit and text me about how your business is suffering, but as soon as you are seriously ready to resolve the situation, you have my number.

I would like JoTech to reply to this thread before assuming anything.

1320WhtRex PM Jotech and refer him to this thread.

David,

JoTech is aware of this thread. It is posted across 3 forums, all of which he himself has admitted to having knowledge about it being posted on. He promises a solution by tomorrow the latest so that it will not affect his business and that everyone will be happy. I await a phone call/text from him so that I can meet with him to collect what is owed. I will update if and when the situation is taken care of.

Well every so often I would bring up the situation and attempt to get a resolution out of it but it just got washed to the wayside.. Often regurgitated, but with no success stories to share.

Good job, let us know. For future reference, collect your money sooner. The longer you wait the harder a problem becomes to solve.

I would still like Jotech to post up here and explain so that he doesn't look guilty and lose customers.

David
