Another Happy Customer

Well i am not new i have posted for a few months now (was going to post in garage but oh well), but i just took delivery of my 07 NHBP Si w/ navi on Saturday. Some may have remember from other threads that i used to own a 05 srt4 (glad its gone!!), ordered my civic in sept, but my dealership messed up and did not ask for the navi option. Long story short i cancelled the first order went else where and in the end am extremely glad i waited.

This car is worth all the hype to me. I have never owned a honda before been a domestic guy all my life, and i can honestly say honda may have me for life. All the little things in this car make it so refined for a 23k car. I will post pics when i start modding it, no need for another stock nhbp thread with pics. I just wanted to share my story with you guys.

Just wondering: how was your SRT experience? I had one at my dealership and while it was a torque monster, the interior and driving experience just wasn't that great. How was yours, and how does it feel driving the Civic instead?

Well to make a long story short I would say the SRT was a fun car to drive short-term, but once you own it for a while the little things start to be a pain in the ass ( roll down windows in the back, no cruise control etc...). Then you realize the car isn't built the best. Dodge did a great thing to the engine/ tranny it is a shame that is all they got right with this car. The Si is much slower by at least a sec in the 1/4, but the overall quality is like comparing apples to oranges. Everything from fit and finish to simply closing the door you know the car feels solid. The Si feels better, handles better, looks better IMO, overall driving fun is better even being slower to me. I will miss that turbo though any stock 4 banger running 13s is great. But i don't miss it enough to ever buy a Chrysler product again.
