I went ahead and shot the URL over to my brother, who has slightly modified 05' Type-S, and his words- which are basically my sentiments- were that it's the cleanest RSX he's seen...and it is!

Well, it looks like the install is going to be pushed back again for my turbo install, I got pulled over for some BS tickets today and they threw the book at me. I was sitting in traffic when a cop saw that I had my windows tinted, then he got behind me and pulled me over, gave me 3 tickets, one for modified exhaust, another for illegal tint and another for having a Texas inspection sticker with Louisiana plates.

break down of costs of tickets:

Modified exhaust $250
Wrong Inspection sticker $250
Illegal tint $120
Total cost $620

**** that, I have to get it fixed, I don't have that kinda money to blow. They are cracking down on imports ever since those guys that were "Street racing" they really were not racing, it was just some young punk trying to show off in a new hooked up mustang that he couldn't control the car and killed those 4 people when he lost control. Since then, they have been cracking down on cars that look like they would be street racers. I have an import, so off course I must race my car right??? Thats total bull****, I bring my car to the track, I keep it off the road. They never pull over other people such as trucks, muscle cars, family cars, bikes or anyone else over for any of the things that I got tickets for. Yet all you see day in and day out are jacked up 4x4 trucks with loud ass straight pipes, tinted windows with stereo systems blaring, but they never get pulled over.

Sorry for the rant, I am just pissed.
That stinks! I have a question. You said your putting a turbo on. (expensive) You got a ticket thats gonna cost you ~$600 and 'you don't have that kind of money to blow?'

btw: I'm in love with that black Type-S. It would be the perfect car if the wheels were not gold. Put the stock Si wheels on it and I bet it looks UNREAL sick. (obviously change the tire, too)

Reason I don't have the money for useless tickets is because I spent alot on this damn turbo kit and the car. I spent brobably about $12k+ on top of the cost of the car so far. Besides, who wants to ever pay for some stupid ass tickets like modified exhaust and window tint.

As for as putting Si rims on my car that is never going to happen. I love my Volks. BTW, they are not gold, they are bronze

I am not sure if I can meet up or not. Next week is finals week and I am booked pretty hard. Also I have a wedding to attend Saturday night. Just give me a call though.

Well guys, I decided to change up my setup a bit. I sold my turbo kit, getting a nice new setup now.

Here is a teaser:

The kit will not be here until the end of june-mid july. I am going to be running a peak boost turbo kit.

Sidemount stainless manifold, 2-piece 3" downpipe, dump tubes, tial 44mm wastegate, tial 50m BOV, vertical flow intercooler (just like full race's intercooler design), 2.5" aluminum intercooler piping, all oil lines fittings and ties, and still trying to decide on a turbo, its either going to be a Garrett T3/60-1 (.82 a/r) or a GarrettT3/T67 (.82a/r ). I still have a few weeks to decide which turbo I am going to get though.

I might stick to the T3/T60-1 because I haven't built a spare motor yet for my car.

Ok guys, I haven't been on here for quite awhile.

I had sold my old turbo setup and ordered a peakboost kit. When I originally agreed to purchase the kit they were still in the testing phase. My wait is about over. Here are a few pics of my manifold before they sent it out to get Ceramic coated by HPC:

Here are the specs on the kit:

44mm Dumptube
3" Stainless 2 pc downpipe w/ v-band
Tial 44mm Wastegate
Tial 50mm Blow off valve
PWR 6" x 23.5" x 3" vertical flow intercooler core(total height is 12")
2.5" Aluminum chargepipe kit with hoses & t-bolt clamps
Steel braided oil/feed return lines
All installation hardware & gaskets
Installation Instructions

Optional water lines with ball bearing turbo upgrade.

GT3076R 60 trim

I have to wait a few more weeks for the rest of the components to be finished and sent off to get ceramic coated and my intercooler to be anodized then it is time to install all of my ****.

I need to make some money on the side to get this project finished and tuned though.
