What dealership in B-More? My parents live in Glen Burnie/Severn, between Arundel Mills and Marley Station. You said you're a Honda convert? What made you choose the Si and what are you coming from?

Welcome officially to the ocho :)

That's insane that you've been waiting since August. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the site.

Welcome officially to the ocho :)

I ordered it at Northwest Honda in Owings Mills. Here is a copy of my very first post a couple of weeks ago...

Greetings and Salutations to all of the Honda "Old Headz" from a soon to be "Newbie Honda Convert".

Right now I currently own an 01 VW GTI 1.8T, which is great when its running right. But sad to say thats only been about 40-50% of the time, which is NOT COOL. To make a long story shorter, I've had countless problems with my GTI (too many to even list). I love the performance that it delivers, but not the problems as a lop sided trade off. So, I am ready to trade in the lemon. I have been doing extensive research on the 8th Si, cause I dont want to go into a similar situation that I came out of. It was so bad that my mechanic said, "My friend, you are good customer. I can not take any more money from you. Get yourself a Honda or Toyota". ... ??????????

So in the spirit of Honda's renowned reliability, in August I placed a deposit down on a 06 Si coupe. I was later told that the 06's would be out of production by the ETD, so I would be getting an 07. I have finally gotten the opportunity to test drive an Si. I have been reading a lot of the postings here for weeks and weeks and have been very pleased with what I've seen. Now Im just ready for delivery so I can enjoy the
Si Xxxperience!!!!iiiiii!!!!!.........

NE recommendations from the Old Headz/Newbiez?

There's nothing like that feeling -- driving home in your new Si. Enjoy, and see you around the 8th.

That's insane that people have to wait that long. I bought my figi blue pearl Si sedan with summer tires and nav on a whim. Showed up to dealership, had car 4 hours later.

ehhh...why am I not surprised...I have friends in Columbia, MD, that have had nothing but issues with their VeeDubs. I'm like why are you sticking with them? They spend more time in the shop than most of you have spent driving them...?

Youre ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!
I do spend more time in the shop than enjoying the road, and most of the time dont even feel safe in the darn thing. And Ive heard a few Audi owners have the same issues. I read one review where somebody said that they would not buy any type of German vehicle until they see a bunch of filled in red circles in Consumer Reports. ...
Now I know.

Cool! The Fiji is gorgeous, but I've never seen the Hab up close and personal.
