nah the claybar is actually really easy, i always use the meguiars kit
its like 18bux at pepboys
comes with 2 bars, quick detailer, wax & microfiber towel
very easy to use but know that AFTER that... you should wax it
we did the swirl remover 2.0 after clay and before wax.. and it works amazing

i've gotten some BAD swirls and they = 90% gone

Thanks, i'm going to try it in a couple of weeks, hopefully before our jan 13th New Orleans meet. When i picked up my car at the dealership when i bought it, they already had many fine scratches, like the people who washed it used some old dirty towel. They don't freakin care, minimum wage and all that jive.

the cars look great! and what type x was saying is true...when you use clay you need to wax the car after that. the clay is taking off alot of the remaining wax, road tar, and other minor inperfections that make your paint not so smooth. Clay is an easy and safe way to clean up your paint (as compaired to using a buffer which then you really need to know what your doing!)

Cars look great but 6 hrs WOW thats a long time...
