that's true.. the handling with a bigger and wider wheel is much better. I have 17" in my actual car (a Mirage LS Coupe.. until i get my new Civic EX Coupe ) and you can actually feel the difference in handling, cornering!, skidpads and all. and besides! they always look much better!! The one problem is depending on the quality of the roads in your city or town wich can be a headache on bigger wheels or better said thin tires! (40´ or less).

Yeah, the potholes are being avoided at all costs. My roomie (who got me into modding cars, damn him!!) was laughing hysterically the other day at me. When I finally got him to calm down, he could only say two words. "Dodging Potholes!" And then he started laughing again. I gotta protect my investment though.

And yes, I've seen the Si Sedan. It makes me sick. I could have held out for a year and gotten that thing. Ah well. I'll make due. Gas prices make me glad I got the EX.

It's just plugged through the AUX connector. It's actually got better sound quality than CDs.

You can get just a 1/8" male to male wire. Radio Shack or similar stores should have them. You wouldn't need anything longer than 3 feet. I'd go shorter than that.

My set up is different because the Zen came with it's own wires. If you go to Radio Shack and ask for that exact thing, they'll get it for you.

Mine is set up with a A/V out plugged into two RCA female-female connectors plugged into an RCA-1/8" Y-Adapter. Does that help?

Cameron,

When you put the Si wheels on, did you notice a difference in fuel economy or acceleration? I hear that the Si wheels are pretty heavy (someone reported 23 pounds), so I wonder what effect that would have on mpg/acceleration.

Thanks

iVTEC, I just realized I never answered your question from looooooong ago. I haven't noticed any problems in acceleration, and if I had to make a completely unscientific guess, I'd say my acceleration is actually slightly better now.

I haven't noticed a great drop in fuel economy. I'm still getting right around 35+ mpg. It's VERY humid in KY, so I like to hit the AC probably more than I should, so that hurts it some. Overall, it's roughly the same. The only big difference I've noticed is road noise, but I like it. It makes the car sound meaner.

I have a LX sedan, will the Si rims mount as they do on the EX?

I believe Cameron sold his EX wheels a while ago. He might still have the tires if you're interested in that.

The Si rims should fit, though you might still run into the same caliper clearance issues on the front disc brake.

mportman, sorry man, I already sold those rims. Like he said, I still have the tires, but I doubt that's going to do you any good.

I gave my baby a little bath today and drove around a couple warehouses nearby. The clouds rolled in as I left the house, so these aren't the best shots...but they should do.

I've also done two mods to the car since I last posted pics.
1. 35% tint on the windshield
2. Bye Bye "Civic" badge

My personal favorite of the night:

The rest:

Where did you get the rearview mirrors? How much? Were they difficult to run the wiring or are there harnesses built in?
