Wrecked!

Okay not really, more like a scuff. It happened when my mom took the car for groceries and comes back with this...

Yea it doesn't look like much but I'm hurting inside. I'm going to get some paint tomorrow and try to fix it. If it still doesn't look good then it's time for the HFP lip

I know how you feel. I got 3 deep ones on my front lip the other day. It must suck more since your mom took the car. You can't get mad at her. She's your mother......could have been worse. Good luck getting her fixed. The lip kit will surely cover that

Thats not bad. If your gonna buy touch up paint, dont actually paint it with the brush inside, it'll look real bad. I learned the hard way =(.

Lesson no 1.- Never let your mom drive your car. Just ask Lightlypurified about that.

Lesson no2.- THATS not wrecked. That's bruised.

Easy fix - it may just take some time.

Clean the area with soap and water, then with rubbing alcohol. This will remove any traces of dirt and wax so the paint can adhere.

Use your touchup brush and apply VERY thin coats of paint 10 minutes apart until the entire area of the gashes are filled evenly (it could take 5 coats or more). Wait about 2-3 days and clean the area AGAIN - then follow with a fine polishing compound to level the area. It won't be perfect, but it will look a lot better than just blobbing on the paint all at once.

You know deep down no one really feels what the owner of the car feels. Even a little scratch like mines is painful. Sure my car isn't totaled but it's still F'd up.

Since you feel your car is wrecked, why don't you sell it to me for $50?
