HFP 18" 7 Spoke Wheels and HFP Suspension...looks way better in person, pics do the car no justice...

The first pic is not a good one, all of these were taken last night when we got home from picking up the car with my camera phone since we couldn't find the usb cord for our digital camera... I will post more up later...

nice ride my man ........me personally im not really impressed with Honda & their "attempt" to make a lowering kit, doesnt do much of anything.....for the price they ask i would want more, you might as well just buy adjustable coilovers by Tein or Megan and have it done with if you dropped that much on a kit

my 2 cents, after seeing so many people say "all you need is a drop now" in so many threads.

grrr..thing is. people put +2 size wheels on.. then the car looks lifted cuz the tires are so sqare.... then they don't like the look of the gap..soo. now they're into the bank for another few bills for a spring kit.. maybe coilovers... and then camber kit for any drop if you're gonna do it right.. and suddenly your $1000 rim upgrade project costs you at least double that. It's a snow-ball effect isn't it ... oh. and if the climate permits, you're snow-plowing with the civic or draggin up curbs and knocking your exhaust parts around on speedbumps at shopping malls.

Mo' problems, mo' money!

..which is why I went to 17's only.. and chubby 225/45's.... a) keeps the wheel well filled nicely, b) protects the rims for curb-rash cuz of the chunky rubber.. . c) keeps more money in the bank to pay for the mortgage! d) no messing with the suspension at all.

'sall I got..

thanks to JRMArtinez for the pic from the Niagara meet! just a pic with NO DROP.. i often get asked if I've lowered the car, when I haven't at all. Yes.. it COULD be lower, but at what cost, overall?!

You could safely add Tien S techs and/or eibach pro kits and be able to run on stock struts for a good 80kmi+ without running a huge tire and making your wheels look tiny.

im thinking of adding the pro-kit that a local guy is selling. Says that they are for the coupe. But my question is whether the springs are for all trims including the Si?

Also, would adding the hfp shocks help at all if i were to add these springs.

yea they fit all models of the 06-07 civics. and it should help paired with hfp shocks a few other members have done this with the comptech springs which are the exact same as the pro kit.

I am actually quite impressed, being that it is not just a lowering kit. The handling of the car was greatly improved and now that i have had it on for awhile the suspension has actually started to settle and the car is alot lower now...

P.S. I got the HFP 18" wheels, Dunlop tires, HFP Suspension, and Installation for $2000, so that is a good deal as far as i am concerned, that is $2000 out the door...
