for the people who are on springs. did anyone change the oem shocks? and should you change the oem shocks or will they last for a good while?

I would of but there are ZERO aftermarket shocks out for the si's as of yet.

My shocks are stock. They will last a good amount of time considering our cars are pretty new, I do have to baby it over most bumps I drive over.

WHY is that? this is the 2nd year of the 8th gen and i've never seen the aftermarket respond so slowly to parts for a Civic for cryin' out loud! the DC2 and DC5 never had this problem when they came out! Even EG and EK were flooded with product.

I'm ready to buy a full aftermarket suspension!

Lowering Kit:

400 lbs of apartment stuff in the back seat and trunk AND a trailer.

Made it cross country without even breaking a sweat.

Oh she was crying up the rockies alright....but at 30 mpg lol

HFP isn't enough for me. I'd go with sportlines for springs. But HFP is suspension.. its apples and oranges :x
