Clean (56K go dig your grave)

I had some free time today, so I had a chance to finally use my new car care products. Washed down then car, then clay bar'ed it up.

gross stuff from hood

gross stuff on half of the roof

Then I applied polish and wax...and got some shiny pics

Playing with reflections is fun!

clay bar =/= buffing

A clay bar gets all the crud off your paint. You do this after washing the car, but before polishing and waxing. The clay bar cleans all the contaminants off the paint and "sets the stage" for polish and wax.

Looking good. I need some sun around here so the shine can blind others around my car. When I clayed mine, the clay wasnt as dirty as your clay.
