Exclamation The wait is over, my 07 NBP Si with navi and summer tires is here! (56k = GTI)

Seven long months of waiting are finally over. I just got home with my new 2007 Civic Si coupe with navigation in Nighthawk Black Pearl. I put a deposit down for this car back in March and I knew it would be a long wait, but Jesus Christ it sucked. But I've got the car now and god damn I can't get this grin off my face.

I've only put a few miles on the car but I already love it. It's a completely different car than the 2004 Civic that it's replacing. Acceleration, handling, fit and finish, it's all head and tails above the outgoing Civic. Keep in mind this is my first car with a manual transmission and I have barely any experience with manual, so I hope she'll be a good car to learn on. I stalled twice on the way home from the dealership, but I think it was from being nervous with a ton of cars behind me at a quick light.

Oh yeah, I want to name the car but I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas?

Look at the ass on her!

I'm getting fog lights installed, the dealership didn't have them when I picked her up.

Look at that ridiculously huge dashboard with nifty navigation!

The two tier speedo/odometer seems to be a love it or hate it thing, I love it.

It's a Nokia Bluetooth car kit. I didn't want to spend the money on a fully integrated kit but I didn't want wires all over either, so it's a great compromise. You plug it into the outlet and it's got the Bluetooth radio, speaker, and microphones all in one unit. It's works great.

I love how the black looks on the Si. Wonderfully classy and sophisticated color.

The navi option was one I desperately wanted, but couldn't afford the increase in price for it.

One thing I freaking love about the 2007's is the red odometer and temperature numbers. Should've been that like all along.

The only reason I wouldn't do black was because I had a 99 Firebird in black and it was obscenely hard to keep clean, even if it didn't rain. It just sucks up everythnig, and it really shows.

That, and the Civic's paint scares me, due to how easy it swirls and chips; just be careful!

Well, I got them because I didn't have a choice. My only concern is that it's starting to get cold, it was 32 degrees when I left for work this morning! I'll have to get all seasons or winter tires soon.

It's the Nokia HF-6W, click the link for more info. The kit itself won't tell me who's calling, it uses the same ring for anyone that calls. However I have different ringtones set for important people in my phone, so I can tell who's calling that way. It's not perfect, but for only $80 I couldn't pass it up considering integrated car kits can go for five times that and then I'd have to get it professionally installed.
