I'm not in the crew, I've got Brembos, but I do have a question about the Spoon calipers.

How do they compare to something like the stock Brembos?


I've helped a few people order them through Yahoo Auctions Japan and even Spoon directly, and they are pretty spendy. When you can get a set of used Brembos for about $500-600, it seems paying $1000 for the Spoon's is a little odd unless they are MUCH better. If they are, I might consider upgrading.

 

he drives a csx so isn't aware of the feeling of stock brembos.

And when you say brembos for 5-600$ do you mean just the front calipers itself or the rotor assembly/lines as well ?

I wasn't saying he's got the stock Brembos. I was hoping someone else would be able to give opinions on Spoon calipers vs Brembo OEM DC5R/FD2R calipers.

I'm using HFP Pads for now.

Yes, you could still use the same size/spec pads.
