Thumbs up guess who?! a nother noob!

INTRO: i'm a 22 male I just bought my new 07 civic lx mt gray (waiting for it to be delivered ). ill make this short and sweet. when I turned 16 I picked out a 2000 zx3. have had nothing but problems with the peace of junk, I refer to it as my peace of crap. ford and honda people don’t really get along, genearly anyways. I wasn’t planning on going with a Honda! I was gonna get the Subaru, but the things inside was terrible it was only a little nicer then my dads 96 protege. the reason for my post is this question: since when have Hondas been built in the us in Ohio?!? I wanted it come from japan. I hope the quality is still okay, after my ford no more American cars for me. no what im saying!!? one other question where can i find sime sites with some aftermarket light body whatever i wanna see them or a link to our sponsers i cant find it. last one is the colors on the bumpers little different shades i have noticed or am i just crazy?

Well, no we don't know what you're saying.... Technically your new car isn't American built. It's Canadian built. Learn to live with it, and learn to love us Canadians for building you such a sweet ride.

FYI, Japanese people generally hate coupes. They like hatches and sedans, and their little scooters with baskets.

Quality will be way better than your Zx3 cmon, don't compare a Honda (no matter where it's built) to a Ford.

Ford, GM, Mopar, whatever, their quality IS getting a lot better, but not even close to Japanese quality.

:)

peace, and welcome..... and get used to the upcoming flames.

Then why do the Canadian built Civics have more problems than the Japanese built Civics?

Why do American cars period have the most trouble out of any car in the WORLD?

Myths. Weird.

Foolio, you're a Canadian... you suck haha.

BATANG: It has always been American vs Canadian. It seems to me it is the American that starts it, and then it all begins. This is why I stop posting in these threads. 99% of you Americans on this forum are radtastic.

I dont think it has anything to do with who makes it but were its made. Fords in europe are great. Its the North American worker. Now dont get me wrong I love my country and have been serving in it for over 17 years in the USAF. But the Japs have more work ethic then the fat lazy north american man. If we see somthing wrong most people would not give a sh!t. But in Japan they work to better the company and take greater pride in there work. And keep in mind not many foreign cars are made overseas and shipped here anymore, they are made here.

Welcome

I'm assuming FTW stands for "for the win".

I really hope the SI guys got a more solidly built car than my LX. Now before the fanboy's faces start getting red with anger, let me say, I like my car. It does exactly what I bought it to do (MPG). And I'll say on record that the car has the best NA 4 banger on the market hands down. I like the car, OK?I beat mine daily and it gives me 35+ mpg's. But does this coupe scream quality? Well, the answer's "no".

And maybe it shouldn't. It's the least expensive car I've ever owned. You get what you pay for, right?

Visors that separate after 10K miles, a passenger seat that's flimsy enough to lock on different track positions, darty on the highway at 70+ speeds, DBW lag, and I noticed yesterday that the plastic surrounds on the sides and back of my driver's seat have big, big gaps and are starting to come off.

Yea, it's a first year vehicle, blah blah. But I find very little other than the engine that I would describe as "high quality".

For the record, my Si kicks ass.... although I've seen a bit of drop-off of the 32 mpg I got on the second tank of gas.

And for the record, Canada kicks ass. I'll be up in Montreal in a week and a half for about six days. I can't fahking wait.

Foolio, have you seen my families newly renovated igloo? Maybe one day we'll invite you over for some venecin and show you my new furnace powered by whale blubber. I don't know why I'm getting a Civic because this year-round snow (sometimes 10 feet) is way too much.
