my freshly polished and detailed Atomic blue coupe

When I bought the car it had these paint holograms in the paint that the dealer did when they prepared the car for delivery. What happened was that they had an inexperienced kid use a rotary buffer to wax the car (without my knowledge), and the kid ended up putting buffing holograms into the paint, which are basically micro-scratches in the paint that produce a hologram-like effect in the direct sun. I finally went to a professional detailer who polished out the holograms with a porter cable...and these are the results:

hey guys, thanks for the compliments. the pics were actually taken at the detailer's apartment where the job was done...so unfortunately i dont have that view of the CN tower!!

but anyway, to answer some of your questions, the mods that i plan on doing (probably next year after the winter) are HFP suspension and wheels, which will most likely be white rota slipstreams or white rota torques - if i can find them. other than that, i think i'll leave the car alone, since its my daily driver. oh yeah, and I'll probably also load up on misscellaneous toys for the interior that I'll probably buy on my upcoming trip to japan!!!can't wait...

zesti1, to answer your question, i took it to a guy whose business is called GTA in Detail (http://www.gtaindetail.com). It's really a one man company and he does amazing work. he is mobile, so he will actually travel to your location if you want, to do the work. you don't need to have a hose even, since he uses a special rinseless wash (i know, i was skeptical at first, but it does work and it is safe). I was there the whole time watching him work, and was able to ask questions, point out areas where I thought he missed, etc...the guy was a very nice guy. If you do use him, tell him Ed sent you.

radiocontrolhead, to answer your quesiton, he charged me $200 canadian for a wash, clay bar, polish with Menzerna (not sure which grade) to remove the holograms, and sealant (Werkstatt), plus dress the tires and trim. He even sealed my wheels with a special hi-temp wheel sealant, so brake dust doesn't stick as easily. the whole process took 4 hours. if you want to get into detailing you should check out http://www.autopia.org, you'll learn a lot about hardcore detailing there. That's where I found this guy.

anyway, thanks for the compliments and yeah ABM rocks (or NBM in Canada:))
